Join 171 Cedar Arts Center teaching artist Cynthia Cratsley for a fun needle felt workshop designed for beginners. Needle felting is a dry felting technique that uses specialized barbed needles to interlock loose wool fibers, creating dense, sculpted 3D objects or 2D designs. By repeatedly poking wool, the barbs catch and compress fibers into solid shapes. Open to those ages 16+. This project is made possible in part by funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
